We can imagine how ginormous the world we live in is. Saying that if all the good things Jesus Christ had done are to be published, this world would not be huge enough to hold them would seem a hyperbolic expression. But it is indeed true.If all the people who lived from Adam to our generation would be inking into paper every single thing that God did for us, earth would be a very insufficient storage.
Now let us not forget what is said in John 20:31, "but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name."
John's gospel was penned so we may know Christ's life death and resurrection. In this we build our faith, and in the name which God has given His Son, Jesus Christ, we may have life eternal.
