DEUTERONOMY 12-20Why God gives so much details in everything that the people should do?
1. Because He deserves the best.
There is no doubt about this truth that He truly deserves the best of every portion of what we offer to Him. Whenever we sing songs to Him, or work in His ministry, or in whatever we do, we should always offer Him our BEST.2. Because it is a test of our faithfulness.
These instructions given are also test of our faithfulness and obedience. Will we faithfully abide to these or we will give in to the temptations of the world? As mentioned, people around us will be used by the enemy to tell us to stop worshiping God and follow other gods. How long are we going to keep His words?'You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice, and you shall serve him and hold fast to him.' Deuteronomy 13:4 ESV
