Read: Romans 12:12 ESV
During times like this, it is very easy for us to look into a lot of negative things particularly in today's COVID situation. We tend to focus on our problems (no ship schedule, cannot disembark, no budget, crappy gov't, etc.) but we forget the very gifts that God has given us on a daily basis.Despite these situations, we are still alive and breathing. We are free to worship Him and cling to the hope that Jesus alone is enough.
Yes, Jesus alone is enough and in this verse, I am deeply reminded of that.
1. Rejoice in hope.
Why rejoice in hope? It's because our hope is in Jesus and He alone is enough. He is the Good Shepherd and He tends his sheep well. We have the assurance that in whatever situation we are in today, Jesus is there right beside us to be our guide.2. Be patient in tribulation.
During times like these, we tend to forget that in these opportunities, God can show how much of a redeemer, provider, and savior He is. Be steadfast as God is at work at all times, even if we don't see it.3. Be constant in prayer
Why prayer? In prayer, God can influence our lives more and more. Whether it is changing our mind, situation, or how we deal with every situation, problem, struggle; it is only God who is capable of that.
