Discipline

We may see some of our fellow believer of whom encountered a hard trial in forgetting whom to trust in this time of hardship is being led away to God and is sinning, we must as his/her brother/sister in Christ guide him back to God. Guide him with a compassionate and gentle heart that embraces him with a warmth that will lead Him back to God.

Scripture:

Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself. Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important. Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else. For we are each responsible for our own conduct. Galatians 6:1-5 NLT

This world that we live in is full of temptations. Many of us strive hard in our spiritual life not to be overcome by these temptations that lead us to sin.

But also be careful enough not to be led also to sinning. It takes a steadfast and disciplined heart and mindset to overcome temptations. Then, how can we be disciplined enough to take care of fragile believers that are easily swayed to sins?

First of all, we must learn to obey God's commandments without any doubts. Learn to share our own burdens with our fellow believers as it can lead us to distractions in our life. And we must learn to stay humble and keep our feet on the ground as all that is accomplished is of God. Always be responsible for our own manners.

It is stated at Ephesians 4:29-32 what should we do that will exercise ourselves to be disciplined.

Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.

And do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he has identified you as his own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption.
Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.
Ephesians 4:29-32 NLT

Why is it stated there to get rid of those behaviors?

In my understanding of this passage is that because we are easily led by these emotional-based behaviors. The best example is many of us use foul language and reason it out as a way to express their selves. So we are challenged to rid of this evil behavior as it can hurt others without us knowing. As the saying goes "Words cut deeper than the sword. "

When we are disciplined enough to control ourselves better,  we can embrace every trial calmly and not falling prey to the enemy.

Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.
Colossians 3:12-13 NLT

Also, we will see ourselves being a compassionate and forgiving person. All will not be possible without the help of our Lord Christ Jesus.
